Shipping & Return Policy

Here you will find detailed information regarding the shipping and return processes for both my handmade ceramics and fine art photographic prints.

PACKAGING

As a small business that values sustainability and recycling, I choose my packaging materials with care.

  • Our General Approach: I generally avoid using new plastic in my packaging. Instead, to protect the environment, I reuse all types of packaging materials. Therefore, you might receive your order in different, repurposed packaging which may include plastic.

  • Photographic Prints: To ensure their safe arrival, prints are shipped flat in a sturdy, board-backed envelope or rolled in a durable postal tube, depending on the size.

  • Ceramics: All ceramic items are packed with extra care and security to prevent damage during transit.

SHIPPING

UK Delivery

  • Ceramic Orders: Orders for ceramics from within the UK are dispatched within 4 business days via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

  • Photographic Prints: Photographic prints are made to order. Your print will be prepared at my London studio and dispatched within 2-3 business days via Royal Mail 1st Class.

International Delivery

  • Ceramic Orders: International ceramic shipments are handled by UPS, DHL, or Royal Mail. Please be aware that customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country, and these costs are the buyer's responsibility.

  • Photographic Prints: To ensure faster delivery and to avoid customs fees, we fulfil international print orders (e.g., USA, Europe) through our trusted partner print studios. Production time is typically 3-5 business days, after which your order will be shipped using a reliable local carrier in your country.

DAMAGED or FAULTY ITEMS

While I do my utmost to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, unforeseen issues can occur during shipping. If your order arrives damaged, broken, or faulty, please email me at hello@denizaydin.co.uk with photographs documenting the issue.

  • For Ceramics: I will send a replacement to you right away. Please note that as all items are handmade, the replacement may have slight variations from the original.

  • For Photographic Prints: A new print will be sent to you free of charge.


RETURN POLICY

  • Ceramics: You may return ceramic products for any reason within 7 days of receipt. I kindly ask that the item is returned in its original, undamaged condition. The cost of return postage is the customer's responsibility. Please note that I cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during the return shipment.

  • Photographic Prints: As all photographic prints are custom-made to order, returns are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or is faulty. Thank you for your understanding.

Important Notes

Deniz Aydin Studio cannot be held responsible for:

  • Any customs duties or import taxes that may apply.

  • Return postage costs for shipments returned due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the buyer.

  • Packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered, which may include items left unattended.
