This is the second piece of the "Unknown" series, an ongoing exploration where each creation is entirely unique. Continuing the reflection on quiet themes of belonging, relocation, and how we adapt to new surroundings, this piece brings a new layer to the narrative.
Crafted from the studio’s reclaimed stoneware, the vase literally embodies the concept of transformation, gathering remnants of past works to form an entirely new identity. In contrast to the raw texture of the debut piece, this form is finished inside and out with a shiny white glaze. The smooth, reflective surface evokes a sense of clarity and stillness, reminiscent of light catching on water or sea foam settling on the shore. It explores the beauty of finding a fresh, permanent skin after a period of shifting.
