This is the debut piece of the "Unknown" series, an ongoing exploration where each creation is entirely unique. This series reflects on the quiet themes of belonging, relocation, and how we adapt to new surroundings.
Hand-built using the coiling technique, the vase emphasizes the tactile and sandy texture of high-fired grogged stoneware. The form is a simple reflection of the way an environment shapes us over time. Inspired by the natural erosion seen in wave-worn rocks and the shifting patterns of beach sand, it explores the beauty of being worn down and gradually finding a new shape in a different place.
Process: Hand-built (Coiling & Pinching)
Material: High-fired Grogged Stoneware
Finish: Unglazed, natural matte texture
Water Resistance: Non-watertight (Recommended for dry styling or as a standalone sculpture)
Dimensions:
H: 25 cm
W: 21 cm
D: ≈ 15 cm
